Former WBC welterweight champion Victor Ortiz’s career may be over after he was shockingly knocked out in the 2nd round on Thursday night by Luis Collazo (35-5, 18 KO’s) late in the 2nd round, Ortiz (29-5-2, 22 KO’s) landed a left hook that was countered by Collazo with a big right hook that badly stunned Ortiz, causing him to turn around and bend over. Collazo then nailed Ortiz with a grazing left hook and another right hand to the head that put Ortiz down on the canvas. He was then countered out at 2:59
