Chris Weidman is looking to prove Silva's Playing antics wasn't the reason he lost!
Call it whatever you want Silva'code to Muhammad Ali, theatrics or disrespect, it has worked for Silva in what has been a legendary career. He's the greatest champion the UFC has ever seen.At UFC 162, Silva didn't just drop his hands and beg Weidman to try and hit him. He pretended like he was hurt, going all jelly-legged when he really was fine. Then Boom he wasn't Silva was unconscious on the canvas after a Weidman left hook. There was a new UFC middleweight champion and Silva's seven-year reign atop the division was over.made a 'mistake.Yet he vows he won't change his approach in the rematch against Weidman on Dec. 28 at UFC 168.Weidman is better than all those guys But now Silva definitely knows it now.

Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate have developed one of the fiercest rivalries in the UFC, spawned from Rousey's armbar submission of Tate for the Strikeforce title in 2011 and their stint as coaches on TUF 18. The pair battle again at UFC 168.
Maidana fires shots back at Money Mayweather" Sh*#!
Welterweight champion Marcos Maidana to respond to Floyd Mayweather’s tweet from this morning where Mayweather described Maidana as being little more than a “one-piece meal with biscuit.” reminding Mayweather that he recently beat little Mayweather, Adrien Broner.
“Floyd, Your little brother wasn’t good enough for this “*****” but who knows, maybe your the next one in the family,” Maidana said via Tyc Sports.
For Maidana to fight Floyd it would give him a career-high payday and give him enough money to retire on and "El Chino" knows it! If not he better give Adrian Broner a rematch for another big pay day cause honestly Maidana's welter weight champion status will be short lived, he is a top 5 guy at most and Keith Thurman is waiting for his opportunity to try his fist at the belt which we believe will be a great fight to watch.

Mayweather Jr. deserves to be Fighter of the Year in our view See Why??
With two highly impressive wins this year over Robert Guerrero and Saul “Canelo” Alvarez former Undefeated Champion, Floyd Mayweather Jr. (45-0, 26 KO’s) clearly deserves to get the 2013 Fighter of the Year award. The people chanted for Canelo and Floyd Jr gave them Canelo and an impressive fight displaying MayweatherJr supreme boxing I.Q. and ring speed. The way that Mayweather turned Canelo into a very average looking fighter. It was very impressive to watch because no one has ever done that before to Canelo, we won’t see anyone else doing that to him until he’s in his late 30s. Floyd MayweatherJr has our vote ! Does he have yours? (LEAVE comments)
Mayweather takes another shot at Pacquiao with Hilarious Photos!! See here
Floyd Mayweather Jr. poked more fun at Manny Pacquiao today on his twitter account. A couple of days ago Mayweather put up a humerus tweet showing himself offering Pacquiao $40 million with Pacquiao turning him down, but then Pacquiao later getting knocked out in the next photo.Mayweather poking fun twice this week but honestly were funny photos, it makes you wonder if he’s thinking about giving him a shot. The positive thing to get out of this is that at least Mayweather is thinking about Pacquiao.Who knows? Mayweather might want to help Pacquiao out since his recent big IRS problems.. only time will tell what the undefeated champ will do next!!

Local Boxer Ramon Cardenas knocks out a former Legendary boxers Son!
SAN ANTONIO — Ramon Cardenas had every reason to be intimidated by his opponent at Woodlawn Gym.Johnny Moreno Jr.'s father, Johnny Sr., was one of the premier San Antonio boxers during the 1960s and '70s. To be honest, I've never even heard of him,” Cardenas said. “But I don't think it would have mattered. My game plan would have been the same.”
The McCollum High School senior used his superior hand speed and effective counter punching to beat Moreno Jr. by unanimous decision to win the open senior division featherweight title in the finals of the South Texas Championships.
Cardenas was one of 20 champions crowned. “I think my speed was the difference,” said Cardenas, of Ramos Boxing Team. “I could see every punch he threw.”

Marquez tells Pacquiao to " fight Mayweather already I'm Done"
Bob Arum still wanting him to fight Manny Pacquiao for his next fight on April 12th, Juan Manuel Marquez once again repeated that he’s not interested in ever fighting Pacquiao again. He already fought him four other times and arguably beat him all four times. It’s no longer interesting for Marquez to fight the same guy again.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. laughs when he hears some boxing fans saying that Manny Pacquiao is on his level!
Mayweather’s an undefeated fighter in his 17-year pro career, and he also has the all-time pay-per-view record with 2.2 million buys for his fight against Oscar De La Hoya back in 2007. “When you get guys that are saying that Pacquiao is on the same level as Mayweather, I say well, in my eyes that’s not true,” Floyd said to Fighthype. “I didn’t need a Nike check on my back…My PPV numbers are still the greatest of anyone in the sport period"!
last September against Saul “Canelo” Alvarez hit 2 million buys, narrowly missing the all-time record. Pacquiao’s recent fight against Brandon Rios drew less than 500,000 PPV buys. Mayweather is better in both talent and in the pay-per-view buys.

Floyd Mayweather Jr: “Manny Pacquiao can have the belt” I don't care!
FLOYD jr. Seen thr WBC’s way of trying to make the fight happen by making Manny Pacquiao the number one challenger for Floyd Mayweather Jr’s belt is a total failure. In a recent interview with Fight Hype, Floyd killed the idea by saying “Everybody’s talking about the title he’s the mandatory. He can have the belt! A belt don’t make me. A belt doesn’t define Floyd Mayweather.”
He insisted that Pacquiao is 1-2 in his last three fights and that his PPV drawing prowess continues to dip lower while Floyd is breaking his own record.

Broner: "I want a rematch; I don’t need a warm-up"
Adrien Broner (27-1, 22 KO’s) says he wants an immediate rematch against Marcos Maidana (35-3, 31 KO’s) and he doesn’t want a tune-up/warm up fight to get him ready before facing him again. Broner wants the fight straight away to try and avenge his 12 round unanimous decision loss from last night at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
Broner doesn’t have a rematch clause in the contract with Maidana, so if there’s going to be a rematch it’ll be because Maidana wants it.Broner should get a rematch however the 147Lb range might be to much for him unlike MayweatherJr who is a great defensive fighter Broner has to stop partying and with the night life and truly get back to training and eating right.
Marcos Maidana Toppled the King in Waiting!
The boxing press – including several prominent contributors to Boxing Site – didn’t give Maidana a cat’s chance in hell against boxing’s, supposed, next pay-per-view star, and the self-acclaimed heir to Floyd Mayweather’s pound-for-pound title king was shocked around the world.
This is my crown now"-Maidana

"SHOCKING" WBC ranks Pacquiao No.1 at 147, below Money Mayweather !
The World Boxing Council has pushed Manny Pacquiao to their No.1 spot in the welterweight rankings this month despite the fact Pacquiao wasn’t even ranked in WBC’s top 15 before that.
WBC is trying to set it up to where Mayweather will have to fight Pacquiao if he wants to keep the WBC 147 lb. title. Its move that I see as sneaking a match, it’s going to give Mayweather a choice – either to fight Pacquiao or vacate the WBC’s 147 lb. title.

Freddy Roach wants Marquez for Pacquiao one more time he says!!
The way Manny hit the canvas that night still burns trainer Freddie Roach that his fighter Manny Pacquiao was knocked cold by Juan Manuel Marquez almost a year ago when Pacquiao made the mistake of following Roach’s less than brilliant game plan to attack Marquez, resulting with Pacquiao getting stopped in the 6th. It was Roach’s mistake for telling Pacquiao to fight aggressively against a fighter with super coutner punches. Roach believes Manny is ready and more focused then ever. Do we really want to see another fight? I don't believe Marquez will take the fight at this tine he sets his sights on Bradley.

"Sugar" Shane Mosley stopped for first time ever in a 20 year boxing career !
Anthony Mundine vs. Shane Mosley was an unpleasant viewing experience would be a drastic understatement. In what has become an unfortunate and dumb tradition in Australia, another ancient shop worn (American boxing star) was carried over to fight a local Australian hero. Mundine 38, did not really beat Shane Mosley; he beat his ghost—some kind of hologram projection that resembled Mosley only in appearance but not in ability because the "Sugar train" we know would have out boxed him easily.
At 42, Shane Mosley was stopped for the first time in his 20-year pro career when his back gave out in Sydney, Australia, giving Anthony Mundine a win after six rounds of action.First time in Mosley’s career that the words “L-TKO” will appear on his record. If this was the end, then hats off to Shane Mosley for a phenomenal career.

Sports Illustrated will announce its choice for 2013's Sportsman of the Year on Dec 16th & Floyd Mayweather Jr is a current nomination.
Sports Illustrated will announce its choice for 2013's Sportsman of the Year on Dec. 16. Here's one of the nominations for that honor by a former Sportsman recipient.
Achievement in boxing has always been built on a combination of hard work, belief in oneself, intestinal fortitude and that special something that's very hard to describe in just one word.
Very few athletes are able to reach a level of unprecedented and sustained success.
But excelling in a sport (competing in must-see events, breaking records, remaining undefeated) can sometimes promote a less enthusiastic approach to the day-to-day maintenance. Athletes may rest on their laurels and find it hard to stay focused and, as a result, even that "Eye of the Tiger" drive becomes difficult to maintain. But there is one fighter, one champion, who has shown the world that he is something different, something special, something great in that roped square. Who comes to mind when pondering which athlete should be this year's Sportsman of the Year? None other than Floyd Mayweather, Jr- "Sports Illustrated

welterweight champion Tim Bradley (31-0, 12 KO’s) is targeting unbeaten Floyd Mayweather Jr. for his next fight, and he says he’s going to talk to his promoter Bob Arum to see if he can arrange the fight against Floyd. Bradley defeated Juan Manuel Marquez last Saturday night by a 12 round split decision, but instead of that satisfying Bradley, it’s made him hungrier for bigger names and the No.1 name he wants now is Mayweather.Bradley’s chances of getting the Mayweather fight will come down to whether Arum can somehow work a deal to make the fight happen with Top Rank’s rival Golden Boy Promotions.
Even if the fight could be put together, Bradley’s chances of winning would be nonexistent. Mayweather is so far ahead of Bradley in terms of talent that it would be more one-sided than Mayweather’s recent victories over Victor Ortiz, Robert Guerrero and Saul “Canelo” Alvarez. At least those guys had something that could potentially give Mayweather problems in terms of power-HBOs clark Kellogg
